ਇਹ ਨਾਵਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੂਰਬੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਿੰਦ-ਪਾਕ ਜੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ । ਇਸ ਨਾਵਲ ਵਿਚ 1965 ਹਿੰਦ-ਪਾਕ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਹਾਲ ਇਕ ਫੌਜੀ ਪਾਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ।
