]]> ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੰਪਰਦਾਇ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਧੁਰੰਧਰ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਤਾਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਰੋਤਮ (1822-1891 ਈ.) ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਤੀਰਥ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ (1883 ਈ.) ਇਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਭੂਗੋਲਿਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਡੇਢ ਸਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖੀ ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਲਿਖਤ ਸਰੋਤ ਹੈ । ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਈ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਔਖੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੀ ।
