]]> ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਲਹਿਰ 1873 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੁਨਰ-ਜਾਗ੍ਰਤੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਈ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਆਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚੇਤਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੇਠ ਬੇਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਰਚਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ/ਰਿਸਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਨਗਰ/ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰ-ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਇਸ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦੌਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਦੇਹੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਕੁੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਮਾਜ ‘ਤੇ ਪਏ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਗੋਚਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੇ 150 ਸਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
