]]> ‘ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਪੰਥ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼’ ਇਹ ਭਾਈ ਰਤਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਸ. ਮਤਾਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੀਰਾਕੋਟੀਏ ਦਾ ਪੋਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੋੜੀਆ ਮਿਸਲ ਦੇ ਸ. ਸਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਦੋਹਤਾ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਰਚਨਾ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਨਾ ‘ਪੰਥ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ’ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਭਾਈ ਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਨ 1914 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ‘ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ’ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ‘ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ’ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਿਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਇਮੀ ਤਕ ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ਸਮੇਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।
