ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਾਲੇ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਘਾੜਤ ਏਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਘੜੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਅਧੀਨਗੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜੰਗਲ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਠੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੌਂ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਨਵਾਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਠੋਕਰ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਲਸਫ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਈ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਵੈਰ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਵੀ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਪੰਥ ਸੰਤ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਜੰਗਲ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਮਾਲ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਫੇਰ ਰਿਹਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਦੇ ਭਲ਼ੇ ਲਈ ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੂਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਐਨਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਇਹ ਰਹਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਤੇ ਨਰਮ-ਦਿਲ ਐਨਾ ਕਿ ਫੁੱਲ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
