]]> ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ 1892 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਏ ਉੱਘੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਆਲ, ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਤਾਲੀ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੰਡ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਝਰੋਖੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ ।
