]]> ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ 5 ਸਾਲਾਂ (1920-25) ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਿਓਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਹਿੰਸਕ ਤੇ ਨਾ-ਮਿਲਵਰਤਣ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗਰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਪੱਖੀ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਦਖ਼ਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਤਨ-ਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਤੱਤਕਾਲੀਨ ਬਰਤਾਨਵੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ਾਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਵੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਾਂ, ਜ਼ਬਤ-ਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨਾਵਾਂ, ਨਿੱਜੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤਾਂ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ, ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਅਣਵਰਤੇ ਅਸਲ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਧਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲਿਖੀ ੲਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਨੁਕਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਇਸ ਅਹਿਮ ਰਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ।
